Training and Background

Dr. Clark graduated from the Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine and worked as a general practitioner for several years before completing a combined veterinary clinical pharmacology residency and PhD in pharmacology at the University of Illinois. She subsequently completed a veterinary internal medicine residency at the Animal Medical Center in New York City and became board-certified in internal medicine as well as clinical pharmacology. She is currently employed as a staff internist at a private specialty practice in Houston, where she is involved in the training of small animal internal medicine residents and in veterinary clinical trials. She has been a speaker at Central Veterinary Conference and the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine Annual Forum, and topics of prior publications include antifungals, soft tissue infections, and antidiabetic compounds in dogs and cats.
